Guatemala is a country with great cultural abundance. Twenty four different ethnic groups with different ways of understanding this world coexist within its territory. In one country different worlds coexist. This is our greatest wealth.
Our grandiose ancestors, the Mayans, lived in what today is known as Guatemala. A millenary culture which has left a legacy that runs through our veins and accompanies our steps. The present Guatemalan population is in its majority a Mayan population, directly descendant of this great culture.
We are a very small country that has an intense history of people with big dreams, people that had to be exiled from Guatemala; we are also a country that has suffered difficult episodes like those of the conquest and the internal armed conflicts. Episodes leaving deep wounds in our population which are being healed day by day through our labor, hoping for a better world for those who come after us.
In Corazón de Volcán we believe in the transformation through working with the culture, in the power of positive objects and in miracles.
Due to our own history we are people who especially need positive messages, successful projects, peaceful fellowship, and love…for these reasons we maintain these values as pillars of our labor every time we put together these pieces we wish to share with the entire world.
